2009 TBR Challenge

Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanza! Happy Hanakkah! Feliz Navidad! Buon Feste Natalizie! Joyeux Noel! Mele Kalikimaka! Merry Keshmish!

Since I had so much fun with my own reading challenge in 2008 I have decided to play along with some of the others I have found online. This one is the 2009 TBR (To Be Read) Challenge. Thanks to Kristi over at Passion for the Page for the challenge link to the TBR hosted by MizB.

Here are the rules:
  • The challenge is to read 12 TBR books in 12 months. You can read them all in one month or one per month for the next 12 months - totally up to you.
  • You need to have a list posted somewhere for others to see.
  • You cannot change the list after 1/1/2009.

  • You can create an alternate list of 12 books max to choose from in order to have more options.

  • Audio books and e-books are NOT allowed.

  • Re-reads are NOT allowed as they are not true TBR books.
  • You CAN overlap books with other challenges.

  • OPTIONAL - You can join the Yahoo Group created for the participants of the TBR challenge if you want to have a place to keep your list or just to share with other participants how you are doing.

So here is my list (made up totally of books that are already in my house):
